Swollen lymph nodes both sides of neck for 2 months. Tested + for mono, should I worry it's more serious? - reason liver can be swollen
I had swollen lymph nodes for a little over two months on either side of my neck. It bothers me that I am not worried about that. I went to the doctor two weeks ago, and they have detected a blood test on me and that one (which tested positive for the test site in mono). I was told that this is the reason why it is swollen lymph nodes. I went to a follow-up, and said that other blood tests were normal except for some of my liver or something of that nature a little more (do not know exactly what he meant).
I think I'm looking for some reassurance, because I'm afraid vulnerable, and I'm worried about everything. Should I worry that something more serious? Or should I trust the doctors diagnosis of mono-and for my body to the virus of work waiting for? How accurate is the test of mono? How long will my lymph nodes are swollen?
